Sally Richards BSc (Hons) LHCEA RSHOM

Hi, I'm Sally Richards and I am a Homeopath, based in South Norfolk. I practice from my clinic at my home in Forncett St Peter, near Long Stratton. Patients come from Norwich, Wymondham, Diss, Attleborough, and Harleston. Also via virtual appointments.

I discovered homeopathy through my two youngest children who had severe, chronic breathing difficulties. My GP reassured me that whilst homeopathy may help my boys, it wouldn’t hurt them. We were astonished and relieved at how effective homeopathy was for them.

Intrigued, I did a first aid course in homeopathy and we used it at home in many first aid and acute illness situations. I went on to study for four years at the Homeopathic College of East Anglia, fitting my studies around my four young children (now grown adults with children of their own), until I graduated in 2010.

I love being a Homeopath; I find it stimulating, challenging and rewarding. I am always learning about this fascinating system of healthcare. Homeopathy is flexible, safe and effective.

How I work

I'm self-employed; patients come to my home clinic or via virtual appointments. I prefer to see patients in person at least once; enabling us to meet together in a safe, calm, confidential space. Virtual appointment costs include remedy postage and packing.

I take the time to listen in a non-judgemental manner to my patients. Illness often has an underlying weakness, so your personal health history, your ill-health at present, and how your symptoms feel to you, help me to find the right medicine for you.

All ages and genders, my patients come with a great variety of different issues, particularly those which the NHS has found it difficult to resolve. My practice audit has revealed a recent increase in young adults needing support with mental and emotional symptoms and those of all ages struggling to regain their health after a viral illness.

My patients update me via WhatsApp between appointments so I'm aware if something changes or a prescription needs tweaking.

I also offer an Acute Recovery option which provides focused homeopathic support in a one-off individualised prescription for anticipated physical circumstances with clearly-defined, short-term symptoms. For example, surgery (including C-Section) and  dental work or immediately after childbirth or injury.

Every personal story is unique and I find it rewarding to make a positive difference in someone’s life through homeopathy.

I am a member of the Society of Homeopaths; the largest group of registered professional homeopaths in the UK, and as such, I follow their Code of Ethics and Professional Standards.
